Faroe Islands

So why the Faroe Islands? Well because we were in a pub, discovered it on the map and booked flights.
It rains a lot and it's not easy to get to but oh my god it's the most idyllic place I have ever been! The foggy days add to the myth and the sun makes the grass so green you think you are in Hobbit land. And if you're not convinced yet, helicopters are part of public transport.
